Lakeview House

Jeff's getting really close to finishing off the second 21st street house. I keep forgetting to take pictures, but it is going to look pretty amazing. I think I will just wait to post the before and after in the next few weeks.

But Jeff also isn't waiting around this time, we bought another house and got possession last week.

It's in a community just south of where we've been flipping, in Lakeview.

This house is actually in pretty good shape and hopefully wont be quite as much work.

There are a few bizarre things that will need work and the basement will be completely redone.

We are going to try and keep the nice new hardwood floor.

I think we will probably do something about the shower in the random spot in the bedroom. I don't know if I would want to lay in bed and watch someone shower next to me!

Work and Play

We like to come visit Jeff at work during lunch or dinner and have a picnic in the park.

After playing hard, Jeff gets back to work.

We are just about ready for dry wall now. 

This is where the attached garage is now extra living space.

Demolition

Remember that giant dumpster?? Well it's full. House has been torn apart pretty good.

We have some new windows cut.

New concrete garage pad.

And now it's getting all framed.

Next Project

We just got possesion of the next house.

It's only across the street and down a couple houses from the last one we did so it's also a 21 Street house in North Glenmore... hmm I'll have to think of something else to call it.

Anyways, it will be a little different of a project because we are turning that attached single garage into more living space... particularily a nice master suite with a big closet and on-suite. Then we will build a double detached garage in the back.

It will definately be a bigger project but I'm excited to see how things will turn out, it should be pretty nice.

Jeff got a huge dumpster to get started on demolition right away.

The girls LOVED the pink and purple rooms, they wished they lived here.

Also the rumpus room, as we discovered they call it.

It should be quite the project and we are hoping to finish it up close to when I have our next baby!

Sold!!

We just SOLD our house yesterday and we are thrilled. We have to still wait for the conditions of financing and inspection to go through, but we are pretty excited. We got what we were hoping for and it happened quicker than we had thought and the date of possession is quicker than we thought we'd get so it worked out really well. We feel very blessed, and now we just need to find our next project!
